Dear Woodbury Community,

There is an important joint meeting of the Transition Board and Articles of Agreement Committee on Monday, April 8, from 6-8 pm at the Hardwick Elementary School Gym, for public input on proposed changes to the Articles of Agreement. The Articles govern the merger and operation of the Orleans Southwest Union Elementary School District, which includes the towns of Greensboro, Hardwick, Stannard, and Woodbury. The Articles will affect the future of Woodbury Elementary School, the building, the property, and Woodbury's membership on the New Union District School Board. We strongly urge you to attend the meeting, and provide meaningful input in this process.

Please find below a link to the draft Articles which were prepared by the Committee over the course of six meetings in three months. Note that the blue highlighted areas indicate proposed changes; the red highlighted areas cannot
be changed.

[Point of clarification: the draft Articles state that in 2021, the New Union District School Board will transition from 8 members (2 from each town), to 7 members (1 Greensboro, 4 Hardwick, 1 Stannard, 1 Woodbury).]
