Greetings,
Meeting packets assembled for the next meeting of the Shelburne Planning Commission are now available. Consisting of a 46-page set of Adobe Acrobat (*.PDF) files, the material has been posted online at https://goo.gl/Oh9xN6.
The first substantive item on the agenda concerns regulations—and especially new PUD requirements—affecting land in the Rural District. This item will build upon discussion started at the March 28th meeting.
The second substantive agenda item concerns Form Based Zoning. It will provide an opportunity for Commissioners to learn about the Yarmouth, Maine, "character code," among other things.
Next the Planning Commission will have an opportunity to address two different "Planning Matters." One relates to the preparation of an amendment that would 'clean up' certain aspects of the recently adopted Comprehensive Plan. The other involves stormwater.
Last but not least, prior to adjourning for the evening Commissioners will have an opportunity to discuss future agenda topics. As noted on the agenda, one very significant topic anticipated for discussion on April 25th is the election of Chair and Vice Chair.
Should you have any question about the meeting or the materials, please contact the Planning and Zoning office.
Thank you.
