If you caught Bill Torrey's act at the Waterbury library last week, you know he is the consummate story teller.
Bill will be back at the library on Wednesday evening, April 10th at 7 O'Clock for those folks who perhaps have always wanted to tell a story but didn't know how to begin. If storytelling appeals to you and you want to try your hand at it,come to this workshop and Bill will unravel all the aspects of good stories. Yes, you need a beginning, middle and an end, but you also need to know why you are telling the story and how to go about connecting with your audience. Bill will discuss how to structure a story, make it meaningful to the audience, share his insights of good storytelling, and talk about how to create that connection between storyteller and listener, which is where the true magic begins. Register by calling the library at 244-7036.
