The Friends of Waterbury Reservoir ("FWR") is hosting two guest speakers at the Green Mountain Club Hiker Center on Route 100 in Waterbury Center on Wednesday, April 16, starting at 6pm. Attendance is free of charge, but pre-registration is requested to be sure we have sufficient space.
VT LOON RECOVERY PROGRAM by Eric Hanson, Biologist at the VT Center for Eco Studies. The FWR plans to assist the VT Loon Recovery Program to formally document and monitor the Reservoir's loons beginning spring 2014 to confirm whether there are nested pairs and, if so, to help implement appropriate conservation strategies.
