The Upper Valley Seed Savers welcomes new members whether or not you have seed saving experience. We meet the 2nd Thursday of every month which includes a potluck and social time.
Are you curious about how to save seed from your best veggies and flowers? Would you like to learn more about, and plant different varieties you won't typically find in a catalog, but are specifically suited to our growing climate and promote bio-diversity? Come to our next meeting!
- April 11th at 5pm - 7:30pm
- Upstairs at the Upper Valley Food Coop (193 N Main St, White River Junction, VT 05001)
- Special Guest: Nando Jaramillo. He will talk with us about the flint corn he is growing at a few farms in the Upper Valley and the traditional Arepas he makes from the corn.
- meetings include a potluck and social time so bring something if you can!

We are a group dedicated to saving and sharing both seeds and the knowledge of how to save them in order to preserve our invaluable heritage of vegetable, grain, and herb diversity. We also maintain an online site to share information. http://uppervalleyseedsavers.pbworks.com/w/page/50320963/FrontPage
During the winter months we meet at the Upper Valley Food Coop in White River Junction, and over the summer months we visit various members' gardens to learn from seed saving projects in progress.
