(From my friend Chuck:)
Hello fellow telecommuters, work from homers, accomplished and aspiring writers, sole proprietors, and underutilized start-ups! My name is Chuck Senick, and I'm one of the many telecommuters in Vermont that can't take advantage of that $10,000 relocation grant. I'm here to say that as much as I actually do enjoy working from my home (or cafe, or library, or occasional pub), I would love to have a local, common, dedicated space to work, network, communicate, and commiserate. And I'm not alone.
We're planning a large coworking space, Richmond Office Works, in the heart of Richmond village, and need to hear from you! Please join me at Hatchet this Sunday, April 7, from 2-4 PM to meet, greet, and talk about what you'd like to have in a coworking space. I'll be at the bar (shocker).
If you can't make it this week, I expect to make this a weekly event this spring, but early communication and participation is essential as we plan the space. Like "Richmond Office Works" on Facebook for regular updates, and send me e-mail directly with any questions at csenick@yahoo.com.
