Our Best Kept Secret: Introduction to Catholic Teaching

Past event
Apr 5, 2019, 7 to 8:30 PM

"Our Best Kept Secret" is the title of a book on Catholic Social Teaching. While little known even among Catholics, the Church's teaching on labor rights, economic justice, war and peace, human solidarity, the right to participate, racial justice, the option for the poor, care of the earth and more - all based on the dignity of every person and the sanctity of life - is an essential aspect of the Catholic Faith.

Joseph Gainza has been a justice and peace advocate for many years. He holds an MA in Systematic Theology and is a member of St. Augustine Parish in Montpelier where he is a lector and facilitator of the Evangelization Committee.

This event is free and open to the public. Wheelchair accessible. For more information: jgainza@vtlink.net; 802-522-2376.
