Brendan Taaffe and Kelsey Wells play and sing traditional music of the southern mountains: the fiddle tunes, ballads, and heartsongs of yesteryear. A versatile duo on twin fiddles, fiddle and banjo, and banjo and guitar, plus the imbera, Brendan and Kelsey also delight audiences with their 'crankies', scrolling illustrations that accompany the songs and evoke the magical hush of shadow puppetry.
