April is National Poetry Month and the Mary L Blood Memorial Library, West Windsor, Vermont is having a Poetry event: April 28th 2-4 pm at the library, on the Brownsville-Hartland Rd.
POETRY: WHAT'S THE POINT??
-You never read poetry.
-In fact you hate poetry.
-You think doggerel should be kept on a leash.
-Onomatopoeia is something you should discuss with your doctor.
-Alliteration is clearly an educational problem and couplets are one bedroom apartments.
We beg to differ! Come join us!
There will be readings by four local poets: Ina Anderson, April Ossman, Rob Foote and Alison Monro ( posthumously for Cora Brooks), with discussion after.
Donations will be appreciated at the door.
