Kyudo -The Way of the Bow: A full day of beginning instruction in the meditative art and basic form of Kyudo, or Zen Archery. The day will culminate in the student's First Shot, which is required for further practice. Instruction by Tom Kyle, a student at the Zen Mountain Monastery in Mt. Tremper, N.Y. Cost: $90 for full-day instruction plus three weekly follow-up classes in Barre.
