The keynote speaker is author, mountaineer, adventurer, athlete, and Vermonter Jan Reynolds. Reynolds is the author of the book "The Glass Summit: One Woman's Epic Journey Breaking Through".
The conference also celebrates Vermont's Arbor Day with a proclamation and recognition of Vermont Tree Stewards Awards and Tree City, Tree Line, and Tree Campus designations.
