Mountain River School is moving to a new 230 acre campus in Morrisville, VT for Fall 2019!

Interested in Engaging, Integrated and Meaningful Learning?

We would like to invite you to join Mountain River School at Johnson Public Library Monday April 1st from 6:00 p.m- 7:00 p.m. to learn about our unique and innovative educational model.

We offer opportunities for children to learn in a holistic, nurturing and learner-centered environment. Our foundational curriculum offers students both choice and voice in their education.

Our mission is to inspire children's lifelong passion for learning and cultivate healthy, compassionate, environmentally-conscious individuals who follow their dreams and contribute with conviction to the world.

Students learn through a place-based model that increases engagement, learning outcomes, and community impact. Children follow personalized pathways for learning, engage in project-based and mastery learning while growing in self-awareness and leadership. Creativity and the arts are integrated throughout the day and woven into learning experiences. And.. students enjoy learning!

We'll have an introductory presentation starting at 6pm followed by an opportunity for Q&A. Please RSVP to patricia@mountainriverschool.org

If you are interested in learning more about our future, our school, our approach and place-based education we kindly ask that you contact patricia@mountainriverschool.org.

We are currently enrolling K- 8th grade students for the 2019-2020 school year. To learn more about our school please visit our website http://www.mountainriverschool.org.

Mountain River School is actively exploring opening a preschool program for Fall 2019 on our new campus! We are looking for community feedback to help determine the needs of families with preschool age children.

We view the preschool years as an incredibly special time in a child's life where the magic of learning begins to manifest and take shape.

Please help us better identify the hopes of parents in the community by filling out this survey:
