This year's event promises to be another fun gathering for residents,families, and the community. There is no admission fee. There will be donuts and dill pickles to go with the sugar on snow.
This year's raffle prizes are featuring local artists' remarkable work. Dave Brown has handcrafted a beautiful wooden bowl from white birch. Liz Nelson has again given us a framed print titled "Last Snow" which is a snowy landscape in the area. There is a colorful, applique children's quilt made by Vaughn Rinaldi. A box of greeting cards designed and made by Emma Pudvah, a former CCCC Board member are a unique and special addition. The raffle tickets sell for $1 apiece or 6 for $5 and are available now at CCCC.
The Lucky Draw will feature a wide variety of baked goods including bread, pies, cakes, cookies and other scrumptious items. In addition, for the second year there will be a special Lucky Draw table only open for children and featuring items that appeal especially to them. Drawing for these gourmet treats will begin at 3:00 and you must be present to win.
