Nick Zandstra of Knock-On-Wood SawWorks will lead the audience in re-imagining how humans relate to the natural world, through mindsets vastly different than dominant American attitudes about land and wilderness. Discuss specific ways to engage with forests and cultivate your own reverent approach to the woods. Nick Zandstra is a logger and miller whose work is rooted in a deep appreciation for and understanding of the complex web of interconnections within the forested landscape.
