How much did you spend to heat your home this winter, and how much of those funds then circulated in the local economy? Are you interested in learning about different ways to heat your home that will help save money, keep you more comfortable, grow the local economy, and help fight climate change? Come to a workshop on the evening of April 9 to learn about cold climate heat pumps and modern wood heating and how these different technologies could work for you. This workshop will provide a quick overview about thermal energy for buildings and then cover these two different technologies. Heat pump hot water heaters will also be discussed. Presentations will be made by Efficiency Vermont, Green Mountain Power, and the Department of Forests, Parks, and Recreation. Tuesday, April 9 from 6:30 to 8:30 at Randolph Union High School in the Media Center. Co-sponsored by R3, the Randolph Energy Committee, Efficiency Vermont and Green Mountain Power.
