Kyudo-The Way of the Bow: A full day of beginning instruction in the meditative art and basic form of Kyudo, or Zen Archery. The day will culminate in the student's "First Shot: which is required for further practice. Instruction by Tom Kyle, a student at the Zen Mountain Monastery in Mt. Tremper, NY. He has practiced Kyudo for 14 years. Cost: $90 for full-day instruction plus 3 weekly follow-up classes in Barre.
