Early Music with the Champlain Consort begins the April series at Christ Church , 64 State St in downtown Montpelier. Hear songs of love and spring from the Renaissance performed on period instruments in the historic sanctuary. Bring a bag lunch; Coffee, tea, and cookies will be provided. The ensemble plays eight sizes of recorder, four reeds, bass viola da gamba, sacbuts and percussion. Donations solicited for Amp Agape, which serves Vermont kids with an incarcerated parent.
