Many of us have been talking about ways we can support Asylum Seekers Coming to the US- and how we might support moving some of those seekers out of the Border Detention centers.

CASP (Community Asylum Seekers Project) has organized and supported several individuals, couples and families to come to Vermont and leave the border detention centers. Putney Friends Meeting is working with CASP, and organizing efforts to bring an asylum seekers or seekers, to Putney.

This fundraiser will create an line item in the Putney Quaker congregations yearly budget to fund ongoing support.

Please come out, have some fun, hear an update from the border and support a good cause.
And, if you can't make it, please support the effort. More info can be found on the website;
