What exactly IS Instagram and why should you care? If you don't know or don't care maybe this workshop can help. Delia Gillen, Technology librarian will be guiding folks through the photo based social media app on Tuesday evening, April 9th from 6:30 -7:30 pm. Instagram allows users to edit and post their own photos, share those photos with others, and view other people's photos and videos.
You might wonder why is everyone using it, and if it is right for you. This relaxed workshop will explain how Instagram works, how to set up your own account, how to use filters and post photos, and how to follow/view other people's pictures.
Even if you decide not to use Instagram, at least you'll understand what the kids are talking about these days!
Space is limited – please register by emailing Delia: delia@waterburypubliclibrary.com or calling the library at 244-7046.
