Moving Meditation, Qigong, a Six Week Introductory Class

Past event
Mar 26, 2019, 9 to 10 AM

If you missed the last introduction to Qigong class, no worries, I am ready to start again so please join me at the Charlotte Congregational Church vestry for a six week Qigong/moving meditation, introductory class. We will meet Tuesday mornings on March 26th, April 2nd, 9th, 16th, 30th and May 7th. No class on April 23rd, spring break.

Qigong is an ancient Chinese self healing technique, the great great grandmother of Taichi. It is calming, energizing, grounding and spiritually fulfilling. It is considered a mild to moderate form of exercise, and a great way to feel more ease and comfort in your body. It is a moving meditation, great for those people who want to meditate and have a hard time sitting still. Most importantly, it brings your body and mind into a relaxed state in which your body's own innate ability to heal is most powerful. Also, it's a great way to meet other people.

The movements are gentle and easy to learn and can be done standing or sitting, we'll be doing both. No special equipment or clothing is necessary.

The cost is $90 total, pay in full first day of class or in $15 installments due upon each session
cash or check accepted
Space is limited to 10 people
