Trailblazers Wanted! Become part of the Advance Care Planning Volunteer Team. Help improve the quality of life of your neighbors. Take the Facilitator Training and learn how to help people complete and register their Advance Directives.

Advance Care Planning ensures that your loved ones and health professionals know what you want in a medical emergency when you are unable to speak for yourself. Taking Steps Brattleboro is a program of Brattleboro Area Hospice that provides trained volunteers to help you understand the process, map out individual steps, and get this vital task completed. Location: Brattleboro Area Hospice. 191 Canal Street Brattleboro, VT 05301.

Dates & Time: 2 Saturdays, April 27th and MaY 11th, 11 am – 5 pm with ½ hour lunch break.

Prerequisites:
1. A personal interview with instructor regarding your interest.
2. The desire to facilitate Advance Care Planning.
3. Completion of Taking Steps reading assignments prior to April 27th.
