Memorable Times Café is a relaxed social time for people living with mild to moderate memory loss, and their care partners. A dementia-friendly community event, it is free and open to the public.
Memorable Times Cafe has partnered with Central Vermont Council on Aging and the ABLE Library of the Vermont Department of Libraries to hold our Cafés on the third Wednesday of each month, from 1:30 to 3 PM, in the Community Room at the Vermont History Center, 60 Washington Street, in Barre.
Participants enjoy social time and refreshments, as well as opportunities to share stories, music, movement and laughter. ABLE Library staff are available to facilitate access to "talking books" and other resources.
Please note that the Memory Café is not a drop-off or adult day care program. Each participant is expected to be accompanied by a care partner.
