Please join us for an evening discussion addressing the social and emotional wellness of our students and school community. Parents, community members and older students are welcome to participate. A panel of CA admin and staff, representing school safety, guidance, discipline and programming will update us on what's currently in place and future plans for the school. They will be joined by community members and organizations that offer supportive resources to the students and the school.
Topics covered will include:
• An overview in current trends in mental health.
• School safety and bullying guidelines at the academy.
• Resources and community connections.
• In school behavioral plans and procedures.
• A representative from The Lamoille Restorative Justice Center.
• Counseling services available in the school and community.
• Suicide prevention and awareness.
• Social Media Awareness.
Please come with your questions, concerns, ideas and support. It takes a village!
