Eric Alva "Creating an Accepting Military Culture" at 7 p.m. in the Mack Hall Auditorium at Norwich University. A discussion with a Purple Heart, LGBTQ, soldier who was injured in the Iraq War and who led the repeal of the U.S. policy of "Don't Ask, Don't Tell", FREE and Open to the Public. The Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion at Norwich University is excited to debut the university's first ever LEAP (Leadership. Education. Advocacy. Prevention.) Week, March 25-30, 2019. LEAP Week features a range of programming to raise awareness, educate our campus community, and empower change in the areas of dating violence, acceptance, and inclusion of all. Proceeds from the week will be donated to the One Love Foundation and Circle, the local organization handling issues of dating and domestic violence.
