Quilters! Fabric Artists! Art on Main Gallery is sponsoring Shibori- the ancient art of pressing a design into your fabric with textured molds or folding the fabric into geometric shaped bundles then doing multiple dips into the natural dye vat to make unique intricate patterns with indigo blue. We will make a scarf and experiment on all cotton fabric. You are invited to bring your own 100% cotton tee shirts, pillow covers, and cloth to dye over.
