Come learn about garden design with Ed Burke, a sought-after garden designer and the owner of Rocky Dale Gardens in Bristol, one of Vermont's premier nurseries. In his talk, "Beyond Plant Combinations: Building a Garden Framework," Ed will explain his approach to laying out a garden with organization and structure. Plants will be cast into categories that define their qualities and the roles they play in the garden. When plants are considered this way, it helps create a garden that works. Refreshments will be served.

This talk is a program of the Friends of the Horticulture Farm, a charitable organization dedicated to supporting the mission of UVM's Horticulture Research and Education Center in South Burlington.
