Visit beautiful and historic Orkney, Scotland with Donna and Patrick
Humans have inhabited Orkney for about 8,800 years: Scandinavian clans dominated the area from about 700 AD, using the islands as a base for exploration. In the late 1300s, these islands became associated with the Kingdom of Scotland.
Donna will share fascinating photos and hands-on items from her recent trip. Patrick MacManaway was raised in Orkney and now lives part-time in VT. Join us in the public library at 7pm. Route 116, parking behind Town Offices.
