"Leadership is an evolving process and, as such, our understanding of what leadership is must evolve in accordance. In the past the world understood leadership as the great deeds of heroes; now we are in another phase of global transition that requires an understanding of leadership based on our understanding of interdependency."--Nora Bateson
Are you interested in bridging generational divides to help solve complex problems in community? WholeHeart welcomes you to a one-day workshop on Saturday, April 27th (10am-4pm) at the Green Mountain Monastery in Greensboro to explore personal and professional learning edges in leadership.
Intergenerational Leadership Exchanges are one-day events that bring together emerging and experienced leaders across diverse fields, identities, and leadership philosophies to explore and evolve leadership individually and culturally. Leadership Exchanges model the sort of leadership we wish to cultivate: they are inclusive, engaging, process-conscious and highly experiential.
Through intergenerational dialogue, both emerging and experienced leaders have the unique opportunity to come together to share and practice innovative leadership forms. Creative activities help participants learn new methods to bring about positive systems change and collaborate on critical societal or organizational issues that are important in their organizations and communities. The theme/focus of this Spring's Exchange is: Leadership Through Interdependency.
A sliding scale is available to support emerging leaders ($35-$80) and lunch and materials are included with the cost of registration. For more information and to register visit: www.wholeheartinc.org/events
