Please come to a potluck and talk on Transition Towns, led by Ruah Swennerfeld, at the Weybridge School, Quaker Village Road, Weybridge, 5:00 PM, Saturday, March 23.
Ruah's talk is entitled "Transition Town Charlotte: Resilience Through Relocalization, Re-Skilling and Networking." The Transition Town Movement is part of a world-wide movement that began in England and is based on the idea that we can solve many big problems by focusing on working in our own communities. Charlotte's Transition Town movement has created a positive vision and a community focus which could be a model for us to follow. I have heard this presentation and it is absolutely intriguing.
