The Essex Selectboard is meeting on Monday, March 18 at 7 PM. The meeting will be held at the Essex Town Offices at 81 Main Street. Here are some highlights from the agenda:

-Public to be heard.
-The SB will consider approving several first and second class liquor license renewals.
-The SB will hear a presentation from Jon Moore of Green Mountain Transit on potential route changes.
-The SB will hear a presentation from Police Chief Rick Garey regarding a school resource officer.
-The SB will consider accepting the Town of Essex/Village of Essex Junction Safety Committee policy, with adoption to come at a future date.
-The SB will consider adopting the Fiscal Year End 2020 budget.
-The SB will consider entering into executive session to discuss the evaluation of a public employee.
-The SB will consider approving the minutes from February 21.
-The SB will consider approving the consent agenda.
