Senator Brian Campion of Bennington, sponsor of S-113 a proposed law to ban one-time-use plastic bags in Vermont, will speak about the bill and its progress in Montpelier. The bill reported to the Senate out of committee on Friday(today)! Senator Campion will speak at 7 PM Saturday (March 17th) at OldCastle Theatre in Bennington, followed by a showing of the movie Bag It!
The Movie, Bag It! Is Your Life too Plastic? is humorous and inspiring as it shows us the impacts of plastics in our personal and global lives, and addresses the importance of a ban on single use plastic bags.
The movie and talk with Senator Campion is free to the public, and contributions toward the cost of the movie are welcome.
