HCTV Intro to the Station ~ Sat., March 23, 11am to 2pm

HCTV will be hosting a free community workshop for teens thru adults Saturday, March 23 (11am to 2pm) at the Memorial Bldg. to learn about HCTV's studio possibilities. We will be setting up a green screen, lights and audio equipment and playing with special effects. This is a great opportunity for anyone interested in producing their own show and/or volunteering to become acquainted with the station. HCTV Community Producers Workshop ~ Sat., April 27, 11am to 2pm

Come and pitch a show for Hardwick Community Television! We are offering $75 - $150 stipends upon successful completion and broadcast of an independent program on HCTV (depending on scope and staff support provided). This is your chance to bring your ideas to the table and explore the possibility of making your own TV show. HCTV staff will guide you through the development process and offer technical support along the way. All community producers will need to be trained to use our equipment to be able to take advantage of HCTV's facilities.

This free workshop will present the steps needed to develop your idea for production, offer a chance to pitch your ideas and receive feedback, and introduce the basic equipment used to produce a video.
A follow-up training workshop will be offered for those interested in continuing development on their productions.
