Jazz Eucharist at St.Andrew's Episcopal Church

Past event
Mar 17, 2019, 10 to 11 AM

The members of St.Andrew's Episcopal Church (1265 Main Street, St.Johnsbury) invite everyone to a Jazz Eucharist on Sunday, March 17 at 10am. The St. J Jazz Quartet will provide lively, soulful music to listen to and to sing with for the traditional Eucharist service. The quartet brings a spirit-filled set to worship. God's grace is evident in the interplay of instruments and voiced with space for singing, improvisations and silence. The Rev. John Morris will be the celebrant. You needn't be a member of any particular religion to attend; we welcome everyone wherever you may be on your spiritual journey.

The quartet is led by Phil Brown who has provided church music for many years including the popular Epiphany Celebrations with Swing Band North as well as many popular secular events. Mr.Brown plays bass and vocals, Buzz Hubbard is on guitar with Roseanne Hebert playing keyboard and Kaci Cochran on drums. It will be a lively time!

St.Andrew's Episcopal Church holds winter services downstairs in the Parish Hall; the entrance is at the back of the church. Parking is on the street with very limited parking in back of the church. This is a worship service, there is no admission but for those who wish to contribute we do collect food for the food shelf and know they always welcome non-perishable items.

Come share this Jazz service with us. See you Sunday!
