Reading Winter's Stories: Wildlife Tracking Walk March 21

Past event
Mar 21, 2019, 4 to 6 PM

Come learn to read the stories in our winter landscapes!

Join naturalist and certified wildlife tracker Jonathan Shapiro for an afternoon of tracking and nature observation on Thursday, March 21st, from 4-6pm, at the Craftsbury Academy woodlot. We'll start by learning some of the basic gaits animals use to move, and then explore the woods for some track and sign identification. Beginners and advanced trackers welcome!

Suggested donation $5-20, no one turned away for lack of funds. All proceeds benefit the Northwoods Stewardship Center. Please dress for the weather, and bring snowshoes. If you don't have snowshoes, let me know before hand and I can bring extras.

Directions to the woodlot: Go north through past Craftsbury Common and continue straight on Wylie Hill Road. The Woodlot is on the right, 2.6 miles past the common. The Woodlot's street address is 1880 Wylie Hill Rd.
