Young Tradition Vermont is sponsoring several events—for music lovers of all ages—at the Burlington Irish Heritage Festival.

Instruments can open doors to the world of music and dance for children, which is at the heart of Young Tradition Vermont's mission. The Instrument Petting Zoo will be at the Fletcher Free Library from 10:00 am – noon on Saturday, March 16, or at the Burlington City Hall from 1:00 – 3:00 pm on Sunday, March 17.

The Fiddleheads will perform with Sarah King on March 17 from 1:00 pm - 1:30 pm at the Ceili at City Hall in Burlington.

Green Fields of America is celebrating its 40th anniversary with a concert at the Flynn at 7:00 pm on March 18. The ensemble features some of Irish America's finest musicians and dancers in a show that brings together Irish vocal, instrumental, and dance traditions.

And on Monday March 25 at 7:00 pm, see some of Vermont's finest college-aged traditional musicians. This multi-instrumental concert—at the Amy E. Tarrant Gallery at the Flynn Theater—features Maggie Hickey, Dana Holmlund, Ani Kulik, Alyssa Miller, Mary Grace O'Neil, Nolan Rogers, Oliver Scanlon, Mariel Wamsley, Everest Witman, Louli Zeichner, Oliver Zeichner and others on fiddle, accordion, pipes, harp, flute, and guitar.
