Dear Neighbors,

I am participating in one day of this walk, and am hoping other neighbors will consider joining! Here's what 340VT has to say:

We are in the midst of a climate crisis. Now is the time to take radical steps to change the course of our futures together. Together with our allies, 350VT is taking Next Steps.

Starting on April 5th in Middlebury and ending on April 9th in Montpelier, we will walk 53 miles for climate justice. During the five days, we'll use our collective strength, as well as our connections with each other and the land, to deepen our knowledge of the climate emergency, celebrate solutions, and discuss ways to support and sustain next steps.

Participants can join for one day, five days, or according to your ability, and can expect stories, ceremonies, laughter, tears, camaraderie, and blisters.

We acknowledge this is the original homeland of the Abenaki people and what is now called Vermont is one small portion of what the people term Ndakinna. In solidarity with the indigenous people of the area, we hope to join them as stewards of this place.
