10:00-noon: Instrument Petting Zoo (Youth Library, downstairs): Young Tradition Vermont invite you to get up close
and friendly with fiddles, bodhrans, whistles and other instruments important in traditional music. All ages
welcome.
10:30-noon: Presentation: "Bright Vision: How Blind Musicians Became the Royalty of Irish Music" with Benedict Koehler
and Hilari Farrington, founders of the Vermont School of Irish Traditional Music. (Pickering Room, upstairs).
12:30-1:30: Tin Whistle Workshop with Mary Ann Samuels (Pickering Room, upstairs). Learn how to play a few tunes on
this popular little instrument. Bring something for recording. Whistles available for $15.
