Quest for Eagles Artist Talk and Q&A

In conjunction with her solo exhibition, Quest for Eagles, Brooks Memorial Library is delighted to host an artist talk with wildlife photographer Dara Carleton, who lives in Brookline, VT, on Tuesday, March 26 at 7 pm.

Topics will include information about local bald eagles: basic information, where to find them, how to identify them, how to photograph them, and what equipment to use. Questions are welcome and encouraged. The Quest for Eagles photography exhibit, at the library, will run through the end of March.

A photography presentation will accompany the talk. Join us for a free, exciting, and informative discussion!

About the artist: Originally from Long Island, New York, Dara Carleton has a degree in fine art, and a background in painting and photography. Over the years, she was commissioned to do several murals in Massachusetts and South Carolina, has exhibited in several galleries in MA and NY, and recently participated in a group exhibit at the Vermont Center for Photography. Dara now resides in Brookline, VT, with her husband, kayak, & camera.
