Lunch and Maple Flavored Fun at the Maple Festival

Come to the Maple Festival Sunday for lunch! We'll be serving soups and chili, blueberry pancakes, breads, sticky buns, all kinds of maple desserts with vanilla ice cream, coffee and apple cider. Paul Morgan & Friends will entertain with acoustic music.

Be sure and check out the Silent Auction with great bargains like an outdoor fire pit; a hundred gallons of fuel oil; a week at a resort condo; Killington ski and golf passes; a botanical and wildlife assessment of your property; family genealogical research; PC computer consulting; lessons; magazine rack; a vintage baby quilt; Vermont teddy bear; gift baskets of wine, cheese, themed dinners, shaving and pet products; tote bags; restaurant gift certificates; clothing items and much more.

Our raffle this year has 50 prizes including $100 and $50 cash prizes; many gift cards and gift certificates from area merchants and eateries; maple syrup and honey products; candles; soaps and many more.

All afternoon Phillip Mahar will demonstrate old-time sugaring over an open fire, while Jon Mathewson, David Wright and Ryan Mahar will give presentation at 2 pm on maple sugaring from early days to the present. Claudia Gonda will offer children's' activities and they are sure to like maple cotton candy, sugar on snow and maple popcorn!

Meet your friends for an afternoon of maple- flavored fun at the Historical Society's Maple Festival on Sunday from 1 -4 pm.
