Maple Cook-Off to Benefit Puddledock Park

Past event
Mar 30, 2019, 5 to 7 PM

The Reading Green Spaces Committee is celebrating sugaring season with a Maple Cook-Off on March 30, from 5pm to 7pm, at Town Hall. The event is a fundraiser to help the committee in its work to beautify Puddledock Park.

We are looking for people to compete in the cook-off by making a maple-inspired dish in one of four categories: appetizer, entrée, salad/vegetable, and dessert. Since this is a competition, there will be a prize for the winner!

We're also looking for people who love maple (and love company, community events, and Puddledock Park) to come and try out the entries made by our contestants. Your votes will determine who is Reading's Maple Master.

Admission is $8 per person and $20 for families.

If you would like to compete, please contact Jane Philpin (jane.philpin@gmail.com) and let her know you're in!

Otherwise, we'll see you there as we eat or way through magnificent maple foods and help improve Puddledock Park!
