Important Meeting Impacting the Future of the Woodbury School: Please come represent our town and school! Woodbury voices need to be heard for the critical issues that will be discussed at this meeting.
When & Where: Friday, March 15 at 6 pm in the Hardwick Elementary School Gym
What: The Organizational Meeting (Part 2) will continue to organize the new merged district of Woodbury, Hardwick and Lakeview Elementary schools. Voters will be deciding if board members and budgets are voted on by Australian ballot or by a floor vote, and other business.
We are required to continue the process to merge by July 1, 2019.
As for the lawsuit that would impact this merger: the decision from the court denied the request for a preliminary injunction or delay. The Senate is currently considering a bill to delay implementation by a year. In the meantime, however, we need to proceed accordingly to meet the original July 1, 2019 deadline.
