Lamoille Neighbors' Launch Party
March 30, 5:00 – 7:00 p.m.
River Arts, Morrisville, VT
This will be an evening of celebration; meeting new friends and sharing with old; enjoying delicious refreshments, hearing great music, esp. for baby boomers by Cookie & Papa Grey Beard (Carrie Cook & Keith Williams); and learning more about Lamoille Neighbors. Representative David Yacovone will be our speaker catching us up on "Aging in Vermont, esp. in Lamoille County". Senator Richard Westman and Representatives Dan Noyes and Matt Hill will also be with us for the evening to catch us up on what's happening in Montpelier.
Lamoille Neighbors is a local non-profit community organization. It is made up of members and volunteers who are committed to helping each other to stay in our own homes and thrive. We have joined a national movement of over 230 "villages" that are active and 130 that are in development. After a year of hard work, Lamoille Neighbors is ready to be up and running as of April 1st. To read more, to become a member, to volunteer, access services or to donate, go to our website: https://lamoille.helpfulvillage.com/. This will be an evening of celebration with an opportunity to meet other Lamoille Neighbors' members and board members. If you have questions or want more information, please come and help us celebrate our Lamoille Neighbors at River Arts on March 30th.
