Hi Folks!
Spring is on the way.... The St. J OSHER Spring 2019 Lecture Series that is!

THURSDAYS, 1:30 PM at CATAMOUNT ARTS Eastern Avenue, St. Johnsbury.

On Thursday, March 14th at 12:30 PM , for all comers, a delightful luncheon prepared by the students of St. J Academy's Culinary Arts Program, served downstairs in Catamount Arts. FREE to all Spring 2019 Season Members; all others, by donation.

Join St. J OLLI (short for Osher Lifelong Learning Institute) if you like to learn for the joy of learning and are interested in exploring a variety of topics and issues.

Membership is $30. This entitles subscribers to save $18, attend all Fall 2018 sessions, bring a guest to one session, and free attendance at 7 other OLLIs throughout VT. The first Spring 2019 lecture features Linda Radtke, Singer & Researcher. Linda will present VERMONT'S MUSICAL LADIES: A SHEET MUSIC SAMPLER.
Linda Radtke, joined by pianist Arthur Zorn, explores the contributions of Vermont women to the traditions of parlor songs, women's club music contests, and social reform efforts. Oceana Juda, Diane Martin, Edwina Flint, and Helen Hartness Flanders represent the richness and invention of the female composers included in the sheet music collection of the Vermont Historical Society.
