Past event

Frederick William Herschel was an oboist, organist, violinist, conductor and composer of 24 symphonies, 14 concertos and dozens of other pieces. He also built his own telescopes which he used to discover Uranus on March 13, 1781. And, infrared radiation and over 800 double stars. And at least 4 moons. And the Martian ice caps. Go, Fred! Let's celebrate the discovery of Uranus this Wednesday 630-830 PM at Pulcinellas - silly old songs, great food and drinks and a free beer for the best Frederick Herschel costume!
