Have you tried alcohol inks yet? (One of the art world's best kept secrets)
Join us on March 14th at 6:00PM at the Swanton Public Library to try this exciting medium that everyone is talking about! Alcohol Inks can be a little tricky, but with the help of our local creatives you will see how much fun they are, how they can be used on many types of substrates, and a few pitfalls to avoid! This is not a paint and sip event– this is a chance to "try before you buy" and learn if Alcohol Inks are something you will enjoy. Local artists will share examples of finished projects and explain the challenges and techniques they used. Everyone present will have the opportunity to try the product, share ideas, suggestions and techniques. Alcohol Ink is still a relatively new media and new techniques are continually being developed. This FREE gathering is suitable for ages 15 and up.
This program is sponsored by the Swanton Recreation Commission.
