Spring Poetry Workshops

Past event
Mar 12, 2019, 5:30 to 7 PM

All are welcome to attend any or all of this series; no writing experience necessary! We will use poems of various cultures to explore the beauty and potential that this transitional time of year brings. Let's tap into this subtly shifting
and powerful energy that lives between winter and spring by looking closely at the light, at the flowing waters, and slowly waking earth and how they move in our own lives. We will share our images, impressions, and do some writing as we move into this new light.

*NAMING THE LIGHT: Tuesday, March 12th, 5:30-7 p.m.
This transitional time as we head toward spring is most potent. Spring is not yet here, but we can feel and see the change in light. Let's explore this new light through poetry. Feel into and name your own light in this moment and what it has to show you. What is it touching in you, around you, in your home, in the world, that you wish to pay more attention to?

*WHERE THE WATERS FLOW: Tues, March 26th, 5:30- 7 p.m.
*THE WAKING EARTH: Tues, April 9th, 5:30 – 7:00 p.m.
