What is green burial? It seems like the word "green" can be attached to nearly everything these days, so what does it mean to talk about environmentally friendly burial? Come and learn about all things green burial this Friday, March 8th, at The Montpelier Senior Activity Center (58 Barre St).

In this presentation, Michelle Acciavatti End of Life Specialist and Green Burial Educator and Advocate, will show a short (20 minute) documentary about the history of the modern green burial movement in the United States, then talk about green burial in Vermont, how to plan for a green burial, and how to advocate for the creation of more green burial spaces (currently there are only 3 in the entire state), followed by a Q&A.
