Join us at The Congregational Church of Middlebury as we begin the season of Lent with an Ash Wednesday service of music, prayer and silence. Excerpts from Fauré Requiem, 3. Sanctus, 4. Pie Jesu, 6. Libera Me and 7. In Paradisum will be presented by our Chancel Choir and guests, violinist Jane Kittredge, harpist Jennifer Hoult and organist Jeffrey Buettner. Vocal soloists will be Jessica Allen, soprano and Jim Wright, baritone. This meaningful service lasts about one hour, from 7-8 PM in our church sanctuary at 2 Main St., Middlebury. All are welcome.
