Did you know that it's possible to retrofit your home so it uses no more energy than it generates, even in Vermont? Join VEIC's Senior Energy Consultant Li Ling Young to learn about recent innovations in heating systems, efficiency, and cost-competitive renewable energy options to take your home to Net Zero Energy. On March 10th over a pizza dinner, Li Ling will share how a home becomes a Zero Energy Home, what the likely costs are, and financing options.

For many homes, investing in radical efficiency and a renewable energy system is the most economical way to operate the home. If you have been waiting for a chance to do something about your home energy use, the time is now. Through a limited time pilot study, you can take advantage of VEIC's special support for Zero Energy Homes, including consultations between the homeowner and an Energy Consultant, financial analysis, contractor referral, energy savings modeling for cost effectiveness, and building science and design assistance for your contractor. Even if you don't consider yourself an energy conservation enthusiast, you can still find out whether your home is a candidate for aggressive energy savings. Come with your most lofty home energy aspirations and your questions.
