"Choose Your World" March 5th @ Winooski Middle High School
Three Winooski Middle High School juniors have had an amazing seven-day residency with renowned Vermont artist Gowri Savoor to create a multi-media installation that will challenge students and community members to think about our earth.
On Tuesday, March 5th from 11 a.m. to noon, the student body and community are invited to experience the space created by the team with 20 lighted, suspended handcrafted lanterns –– some as tall as a person!
Meet "The Fortune Teller" who will guide you to earth's destiny.
This student-designed installation is the first part of the students' Creativity GX (Graduate Expectation) Capstone Class, the course co-created by Winooski teachers Heather Win, Jessica Bruce, and Matt Webb with the arts integration professionals from Summer Teacher Institute of the Community Engagement Lab.
